Live wrestling by Heidelberg was Portland's most popular local live television program in 1954, according the the Oregon Journal's B. Mike popularity poll.

Bob McAnulty popular Portland announcer, narrated the sports favorite that was broadcast by "live" remote from the Portland Armory.
